Lewis returns, steps to right

After one game as a healthy scratch, Trevor Lewis returns to the Kings’ fourth line tonight, but in a different look as a right winger alongside center Brad Richardson and left winger Kyle Clifford. That’s nothing dramatic, as Lewis has previously said that he’s comfortable playing any forward position, and it might also be practical, given that Lewis’ 40.6-percent success rate on faceoffs isn’t exactly stellar. Over the weekend, Terry Murray talked about wanting to see more offense from Lewis as well, so Lewis gets another opportunity tonight.

MURRAY: “His game is starting to be better. I thought he worked his way through the training camp and is starting to get better. He’s more confident with the puck. He’s got composure. He’s a very good special-teams player, a very good penalty-killer. So he will get back in here tonight and give us a little boost of emotion.’’
