A few things…

The Kings only have five defensive prospects at their summer development camp, and now they might be down one. Derek Forbort showed up with a bad back, and his status for the public camp sessions on Monday and Tuesday are not yet known. Forbort also had a bout with mononucleosis last year, during his freshman year at the University of North Dakota, and had 15 points in 38 games. The Kings were otherwise pleased with the physical conditioning of several of the prospects, with Tyler Toffoli drawing strong reviews in particular.

Second, the Kings are doing some live streaming and interactive interviews from the Ice Crew tryouts. To view and participate, starting at 4 p.m. Pacific time today, you can click here.
