Hockey Fest date set for 2011

For those who like to look ahead, the Kings announced today that their third-annual “Hockey Fest” will be held on Sept. 11 at Staples Center. Details will be announced during the summer, but the event — like its two predecessors — will include Q&A and autograph sessions with Kings players, coaches, alumni and personalities, along with other features. It figures to be a poignant day, since it will be the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks that took the lives of Kings scouts Ace Bailey and Mark Bavis.
