End of first: Kings 1-0

The Ducks outshot the Kings 8-7 in the first period. The Ducks went 0-for-1 on the power play and the Kings did not have a power play.

Here’s one I had never heard before… Play was stopped in the first period, and the public-address announcer at Honda Center had to tell fans not to use laser pointers. Apparently, someone was shining one on the ice and/or at players.
