As noted earlier, Andrei Loktionov will soon undergo season-ending surgery on his left shoulder. Loktionov injured his shoulder last Friday while playing an AHL game for the Manchester Monarchs. He will have the surgery in Los Angeles, with the same doctor who surgically repaired his right shoulder late in 2009, and Loktionov will then return to Manchester for rehab work and is expected to be ready for the start of training camp. Loktionov finishes this season with four points and three assists in 19 games with the Kings, plus eight goals and 23 assists in 34 games with the Monarchs.
