Scouting the Wild

The Kings and Minnesota Wild meet for the fourth and final time this season and, well, pack a lunch. All three previous meetings this season have gone beyond regulation, with the Kings winning 3-2 in a shootout in St. Paul on Oct. 25, the Wild winning 3-2 in overtime at Staples Center on Dec. 11 and the Wild winning 1-0 in a shootout on Feb. 1 in St. Paul. The Wild will be without forward Kyle Brodziak, who will be replaced in the lineup by Jed Ortmeyer, and Niklas Backstrom gets the start in goal. For the latest on the Wild, check out the reports from the Minneapolis Star-Tribune and the St. Paul Pioneer Press, followed by the expected lineups for the Wild and Kings and the Wild’s roster…
