End of first: Capitals 1-0

The Capitals outshot the Kings 7-4 in the first period, as they got an early goal and very much went to their new lock-it-down, defensive look at the blue line. There was a first-period fight, with Kevin Westgarth and DJ King, but otherwise no penalties.
