Friday practice update

It was another hour-long practice for the Kings in Calgary today. Marco Sturm’s inheritance of a purple jersey, Terry Murray said, was to balance out the lines for scrimmage drills, as the Kings had used five players in green jerseys yesterday. Sometimes, it’s just about laundry. It was also a bad day to be a lower leg, as both Sturm and Drew Doughty got hit by shots, but both finished practice and seemed to be fine.
