Quick postgame quotes

Jonathan Quick’s postgame thoughts…

(on the confidence gained, going into the break…)
QUICK: “It’s huge, absolutely. We need wins. We need two points. We dug a little hole for ourselves, and I think we’ve done a good job of starting to climb back out, but we still have a lot of work to do. So we’re not going to get ahead of ourselves. We’re going to take it one game at a time and try to get two points every time.”

(on the upcoming road stretch…)
QUICK: “It doesn’t matter where you play, whether you’re at home or you’re away. Every game is the same. Good teams, it doesn’t matter where they play. You’ve got to focus on one game at a time and not get ahead of yourself and be prepared to be at your best every time you go out there.”

(on rebounding from the two second-period goals…)
QUICK: “They’re a great offensive team. They’ve got a lot of weapons and they’re going to score goals. it’s going to happen. You can’t expect to shut them out every time you play them, so you’re prepared for that. Things happen, so you forget about it. You have a short memory, you move on and you’ve got to be there to make the next save.”
