Jonathan Bernier’s postgame thoughts…

(on his success against the Predators…)
BERNIER: “You know, I don’t feel any different than in other cities. I guess it just goes that way. Offensively, I think, there were some goals that we scored that, I don’t know how they got in, but I think our forecheck was really good. We cycled the puck, and that was our game plan. They played last night and our guys did a good job.”

(on being able to play with a big lead early, after a long layoff…)
BERNIER: “Obviously that always helps, and you get it in the back of your mind, but I really try to focus on making the next save and not really worrying about the score. Sometimes it can be really easy (to lose focus) when it’s 3-0 or something, so I just try to do my best and don’t get too many minuses for the boys on the ice.”

(on getting back in, with a win…)
BERNIER: “I think I’ve had a tough time to find some wins this year, so it’s always good to get that two points, especially on the road.”
