Mitchell, Richardson updates

Brad Richardson (upper-body injury) and Willie Mitchell (broken wrist) will both be out of the Kings’ lineup tonight, although it’s not a stretch to think that Mitchell could be back very soon. The Kings’ next game is Monday at Detroit, and it’s worth noting that nobody has declared that Mitchell won’t play in that game. Mitchell has been medically cleared to play. The only remaining obstacle is the mutual decision, between coaches and player, as to when Mitchell will play.

As for Richardson’s, Murray said this morning, “Nothing has changed. We’re still monitoring that closely.”
