Kings injury updates

Willie Mitchell had his wrist examined during last night’s game, and Terry Murray said he got “positive news. Now (it’s) just a matter of keeping at it, keep progressing as it relates to conditioning.”

As for Brad Richardson, things are less certain. Richardson left during the first period of last night’s game, skating to the bench in apparent, significant discomfort. After the game, Murray couldn’t offer much information. I don’t have any update on it. “He will see our doctor (in the) morning,” Murray said. “Upper-body injury. We’ll see how it is then. … I don’t (know how it happened). I really don’t. There were a lot of things going on, on that particular play down deep. He was trying to recover a puck. I haven’t watched the replay yet.”
