Postgame notes (Dec. 2)

Some notes from last night’s game…

— The Kings ended their four-game losing streak by beating the Florida Panthers 3-2 on Thursday night at Staples Center.

— The Kings scored three goals, after having totaled four goals in their previous four games.

— The Kings went 0-for-2 on the power play and 3-for-3 on the penalty kill. They remain the NHL’s only team to have not allowed a power-play goal at home this season (41-for-41).

— Before this game, the Kings had been 2-7-0 when trailing after two periods.

— The Kings are now 11-2-0 when scoring the first goal of the game and 6-2-0 in one-goal games. The Kings are now 12-2-0 when scoring at least three goals and 11-2-0 when allowing two or fewer goals.

— Florida outshot the Kings 26-24.

— Eight different Kings recorded a point in the game.

— The Kings improved to 7-3-0 against Eastern Conference teams this season.

— Jonathan Quick stopped 24 of 26 shots for the win and broke a personal three-game losing streak. Quick has allowed two or fewer goals in three consecutive games and in 11 of his 17 games this season.

— Peter Harrold scored the game-tying goal early in the third period for his third point of the season and his first goal since Jan. 23 of last season, at Detroit.

— Anze Kopitar scored the game-winning goal in the third period. The Kings have a 6-2-0 record this season in games in which Kopitar scores a goal.

— Jarret Stoll scored a first-period goal, his eighth of the season. Stoll totaled 16 goals in 73 games last season. Stoll was also credited with a game-high five shots on goal.

— Kyle Clifford recorded his first NHL point tonight, with an assist on Peter Harrold’s goal.

— Justin Williams had one assist and now has a team-high 23 points in 24 games (9 goals, 14 assists).

— Matt Greene was credited with a game-high eight hits and also was credited with a team-high three blocked shots.

— The Kings won 32 of 58 faceoffs (55 percent). Jarret Stoll won 12 of 18 draws (67 percent) and, in his last four games, has won 40 of 57 draws (70.2 percent).

— Drew Doughty played a game-high 27 minutes, 27 seconds. Anze Kopitar led all Kings forwards in ice time at 23:42.
