Friday practice update

Standard practice today, with all Kings on the ice skating in the same roles they occupied last night. There were no “maintanence days,” even though there were some big hits to Dustin Brown, Michal Handzus and Anze Kopitar last night.

Even though this falls under the category of “old business,” it’s still worth noting that I learned today that game officials rescinded the game-misconduct penalty on Brown for his hit on Minnesota’s Antti Miettinen. That’s noteworthy because Brown would have faced suspension if he got another similar game-misconduct penalty. Now it’s off the books.
