Second chance for Lewis

Trevor Lewis will be back in the Kings’ lineup tonight as the fourth-line right winger, alongside Andrei Loktionov and Kyle Clifford. Lewis has been a healthy scratch in seven of the Kings’ eight games this season. In his one appearance, on Oct. 20 vs. Carolina, Lewis played 7:44 with one shot on goal. Terry Murray said Lewis’ inactivity this season is one reason he wanted to get a look at Lewis tonight…

MURRAY: “That’s part of the reason why. With back-to-back games, I want to play four lines more in this game tonight. Chicago is doing the same thing. They’re rolling out their lines, and we want to be able to match it, especially with the fact that we have to play again tomorrow and it’s going to be a very late night getting in tonight. We’ll try to save some energy and, at the same time, pour it in for a big game here.”
