Anze Kopitar’s first goal of the season gave the Kings the lead 6:58 into the second period. Dustin Brown won the puck with an offensive-zone check along the boards, and Kopitar picked it up and scored on a high wrist shot.

That’s the good news for the Kings. The bad news is that Drew Doughty has not played in this period and isn’t on the bench. Awaiting word on his status…
