As part of my weekly feature for LAKings.com, I took a look at the hockey culture, and the unspoken fact that players will do just about anything to avoid missing a game due to injuries such as cuts, broken teeth, etc. Anze Kopitar, who had his face sliced in the season opener, is just the latest example. No profanity, slurs or other offensive language. Replacing letters with symbols does not turn expletives into non-expletives.
