— Drew Doughty, Brayden Schenn and Jarret Stoll tied for the team high with five shots on goal. Dustin Brown was credited with eight hits.
— In his Kings debut, Alexei Ponikarovsky took three minor penalties in the game’s first 42 minutes, but then drew an important interference penalty on Ryan Kesler in the third period. Williams’ game-tying goal came on the ensuing power play.
— Drew Doughty played a game high 29 minutes, 19 seconds. Ryan Smyth led all Kings forwards at 25:01.
— The Kings won 30 of 56 faceoffs (54 percent). Jarret Stoll won 9 of 11 draws.
— The Kings play Calgary on Sunday at 5 p.m. Pacific time. Jonathan Bernier is scheduled to start in goal for the Kings.
