Thursday practice update

With the season opener rapidly approaching, the Kings’ lineup is coming into focus. Terry Murray said that his lineup for Saturday will include a fourth line of Kyle Clifford, Brayden Schenn and Kevin Westgarth and that the third defensive pair will be Jake Muzzin and Davis Drewiske.

Murray also said that Jonathan Bernier will start one of the first three games — the Kings start with three games in four nights — but didn’t say which one. It won’t be Saturday. More notes and quotes to come…
