Friday practice update

— Dean Lombardi said Thomas Hickey had a good camp and that Hickey was sent to Manchester with a short list of things he needed to work on in his game. Hickey also got a variation of the Jonathan Bernier speech from last season, in which management challenged Bernier to be the best goalie in the AHL. I’ll have more quotes from Lombardi soon…

— In tomorrow night’s game in Las Vegas, the Kings will have a fourth line of Rich Clune, Trevor Lewis and Kevin Westgarth, in addition to the three regular lines (the ones centered by Kopitar, Stoll and Handzus). A change has been made on the third defensive pair, which will be Davis Drewiske and Peter Harrold. Jake Muzzin will play Sunday in Anaheim.

— Scott Parse is still off the ice, and Terry Murray said Parse still had some issues on the “slide board” when he attempted to test his groin muscle yesterday.

— Murray again declined to name is goalie(s) for Sunday’s exhibition finale. Jonathan Quick is scheduled to play all of Saturday’s game.
