Quinn on the Kings

Some of you saw this last night, but this was part of the reaction of Edmonton coach Pat Quinn to yesterday’s game…

QUINN: “The Kings have some talent and grit, but the goals we had were easy so if they keep that as a standard then they won’t go far in the playoffs. They have great forwards that play well and Doughty and Johnson are very talented on the defensive side, so once they have solid goaltending they will always have a chance to win.”

Quinn, you might remember, coached the Kings for parts of three seasons in the early 1980s.
