Scoring, and more

Dustin Brown got the headlines last night for his second career hat trick, and his career-best four-point game, but today, Terry Murray said there was much more to Brown’s game against Vancouver. Brown had six shots on goal and, while he was officially credited with only one hit, was a physical presence early. Brown even won a faceoff in fill-in duty…

MURRAY: “Brownie went out right away and, before even scoring, had a physical presence, some hits. That’s the tone that needed to be established, to follow up with the game in Nashville. I thought he did a great job in that area, and then he gets rewarded for that type of an attitude with three goals.”
