Jonathan Bernier’s postgame thoughts…
(on his game…)
BERNIER: “Our guys, they were in good position, so they guys [Predators] had to go around them if they were screened and stuff. I thought it was a really good game and a big two points for our team.”
(on helping the Kings end their winless streak…)
BERNIER: “It’s a great result. I just tried to approach it the same way I did in Dallas, and it worked pretty good for me.”
(on getting called up a couple days ago and getting his first shutout…)
BERNIER: “It’s a lot of emotion, and it’s fun to come here. For me, it was just to try to get the guys on track. I didn’t think about the shutout or anything. Parsey had a timely goal and it gives us the lead, and a great shot by OD after.”
(on helping give the team a boost…)
BERNIER: “I looked at the last four games, and I didn’t think they played very bad. I thought we dominated, and the puck just wasn’t bouncing our way. Tonight it did, so it was good.”
