Also, the Kings return to the site of one of their most impressive victories, a 5-2 victory over Minnesota on Dec. 31 in which the Kings led 3-0 after the first period…

MURRAY: “The 60 minutes, to me, was excellent. The start was exactly the start that you had to have. Great offensive-zone play, cycle, and we get the lead. Clearly that’s the kind of effort that we want to get back to on a game-to-game basis, 60 minutes of play. This game is going to be one of those difficult games, again. It’s late in the season and they’ve got some new guys that are going to be in the lineup. They’re getting Koivu back, after missing a couple of games. It’s not going to be easy, but we need the energy, we need the smart play and the energy and tempo to give us that flow to our game, so that I can use the four lines in back-to-back games and, again, get our level of play established to that level we were at before the Olympic break.”
