Quick postgame quotes

Jonathan Quick’s postgame thoughts…

(on reversing the poor play…)
QUICK: “I think what it comes down to is just working day to day, coming prepared for each day, being prepared for practice, not taking practices off and bearing down, starting with the basic stuff. As a team, we need to play better. That’s two games in a row that I’m saying this. We need to play better. We can say that all we want, but at the end of the day we just have to go out and do it.”

(on how best to describe the team’s emotions…)
QUICK: “There’s no frustration. We’re still in a playoff spot. We still have 13 games left. We still have a couple games in hand against the guys around us. You can’t get frustrated. The past two performances, you could say `disappointed.’ We were a little disappointed in the way we played. But at the end of the day, like I just said, you’ve got to bear down. We need a good practice tomorrow, to do all the little things correctly, and then we’ve got to carry that over against the Islanders on Saturday.”
