Matt Greene’s postgame thoughts…
(on the poor play…)
GREENE: “I just think it’s just a lack of execution right now. I think we’re not completing passes, we’re getting away from our game plan and we’re just not doing the things that brought us success from the beginning of the year, in the early part of the year. It’s been identified, and guys know what we’ve got to do, so it’s just basically a matter of doing it now and realizing there is an issue there and fixing it.”
(on whether the recent negative momentum starts to feed off itself…)
GREENE: “If you let it, absolutely, but I think we have a strong enough group in here and a strong enough team not to let that happen. I think we have a lot of character guys in here who need this. Everybody in here wants this. Everybody is in for the same goal, to be a playoff team and have a good run, and it’s up to us not to let it happen. That starts tomorrow with practice, with watching tape, with realizing the mistakes you made and just executing better in practice tomorrow. It all starts then.”
