The Kings didn’t record their first shot on goal of the second period — listed as a 67-foot wrist shot by Matt Greene — until 12:36 into the second period, so the Kings went 16 minutes, 39 seconds between shots in the first and second periods. Chicago outshot the Kings 13-3 in the period.
