Williams update

Here’s what Terry Murray said today about the possible return of Justin Williams. After tonight, the Kings next play Friday at Dallas, followed by a Sunday afternoon home game. Williams has been out of the lineup since he suffered a broken leg on Dec. 26, but has been skating since the Kings returned from the Olympic break.

Question: Do you have a sense of when Williams might return, or are you just watching him day by day?

MURRAY: “Yes, I’m watching him day by day, but I believe it is very close. Just speaking with him before the start of the battle drills that he was doing out there, (he is) feeling good, felling comfortable and he wanted to give himself a good test in that part of it. So I’ll talk to him after he’s finished today. He’ll get another practice in tomorrow, and then we’ll make a decision as to if he feels comfortable or not.”
