Through two periods, shots are 28-21 Chicago, and if that trend continues, it will be a fairly unusual game for both teams. The Blackhawks have allowed more than 30 shots on goal in a game only nine times in 65 games this season. The Kings had allowed more than 30 shots in 17 of 65 games entering tonight.
