Jonathan Quick’s postgame thoughts…
(on setting the Kings’ single-season record for goalie wins…)
QUICK: “I think right now it just means that that’s what it took to get into fifth place at this point. We’ve still got a long road ahead of us. We can’t get too complacent. We’ve got to focus on what’s ahead of us and take one game at a time.”
(on how he felt, in his first post-Olympic game…)
QUICK: “I felt good. I do think I could have been sharper. I was fortunate enough to make some saves. I caught a few lucky bounces, but some of my decisions with the puck weren’t what they should have been. You watch video and you assess what went wrong and you move on.”
(on the team’s play in front of him…)
QUICK: “It was great. When you get five goals of support, that’s always a little weight off your shoulders. The team played great. We’ve just got build off it.”
