Drew Doughty’s postgame thoughts…

(on his play tonight…)
DOUGHTY: “By the third, I was a little tired, but I felt OK. It was good to kind of contribute, I guess, offensively, and I felt like I was skating out there. I think that’s kind of my job, to bring that play from the Olympics back here to the team, and I guess lead by example.”

(on the big minutes he and Jack Johnson played…)
DOUGHTY: “I think it’s probably the right thing to do. A lot of guys were off for 10 days, so they maybe need (fewer minutes) and we’ve been going. It was good to kind of keep playing.”

(on the overall strong effort…)
DOUGHTY: “I thought we came out strong in the first period, and from then on out, we did pretty good at shutting them down. Quicker made some huge saves for us, and it was really good to get that first win.”
