Brown postgame quotes

Dustin Brown’s postgame thoughts…

(on the win…)
BROWN: “Tonight was a much better effort, for a result. I think we played a pretty good game. We had to battle from behind, but I think we played, not only hard, but played with our heads. We played within our system, and when we do that we can play with anybody in the league, as long as we are playing within our system and we have everyone on board. It was not any individual. We had goals from three different lines, and that is what we need here, everybody on board and working hard, and when we have that we get a good result.”

(on working for the goals…)
BROWN: “The goal that really comes to mind is the second one. OD [Sean O’Donnell] just put it on net. It was not a very hard shot, and it might have even hit the center of the net, and Zeus [Michal Handzus] was a big body, and when you have that, it does not matter how good the goalie is, and they probably have the best in the league right now in Ryan Miller. If he cannot see it, he cannot stop it. That is something we need to focus on, and that is the way we need to play. Get guys in front, and get it to the net, and things work out.”
