Boston carried the pace of play for a while after the Kings goal, and the Bruins got rewarded with 1:40 remaining in the first period. Miroslav Satan slowed in the right circle and took a wrist shot. Kings defenseman Jack Johnson might have had a deflection, or at least a screen, and the shot beat Quick.
