Drew Doughty’s postgame thoughts…
(on the game…)
DOUGHTY: “We were OK tonight. We weren’t good, and obviously we need to be a lot better than that if we want to be winning all our games. We deserved the two points, we came back and won, but they outplayed us, I thought, for most of the game. Not scoring on that 5-on-3 really hurt us.”
(on rallying from the two-goal deficit…)
DOUGHTY: “I know, all of us in here, we all want to win. We’re not going to give up, even if we’re down three or four goals. If you have 20 minutes to score three goals, you’ve got a pretty good chance. As long as you’re doing the right things and getting pucks to the net, you’re going to score goals. I know we came in here after those two goals and we were pumped up. I think, even though we didn’t score on that 5-on-3, we maybe gained a little momentum from it, which is a good thing.
