Anze Kopitar’s postgame thoughts…
(on the lack of scoring…)
KOPITAR: “We had a couple power plays, and we generated chances, but I guess the finish is missing. I think, if we keep going like that and creating chances, I think the bounces are going to come too. I’m pretty confident that we’ll score some more goals in the future now.”
(on losing games in familiar ways…)
KOPITAR: “Terry came in and said that the seven out of 10 that we’ve lost, we’ve lost by one goal. That’s a little frustrating, but I said it before. I think if we keep playing with this intensity, like we did tonight, and getting chances, I think we’re going to break though. We just need a couple bounces to feel better and get a little confidence, and we’ll get that scoring back from earlier in the year.”
(on running into hot goaltenders…)
KOPITAR: “Well, they’re all good goalies around here, so it is what it is. We can’t use that as an excuse. We have to battle through it, shoot the puck and get it past them.”
