Kings vs. San Jose game preview

This is the fifth of six meetings between the Kings and Sharks this season, and so far the Kings have earned seven out of a possible eight points against San Jose. Either the Kings have the Sharks’ number this season, or the Sharks are way, way due. Terry Murray was asked this morning if he anticipated the Sharks changing anything, based on the results of the first four games this season…

MURRAY: “I don’t expect them to change in any way. If they change lines, or something like that, I don’t know that, but I don’t expect them to change anything in their style or system of play. Good teams don’t do that. Teams that win, in whatever sport it is, you play a certain way. `This is our way of playing.’ This is the L.A. Kings’ way of playing. We’re going to play hard and do it right tonight.

“If it’s not good enough, if you come out of the game and you’re not good enough to win it, then you come right back the next game and you go back the same way, playing the L.A. Kings’ way. If you do that, and stay on page and do the right stuff within your structure and system, you’re going to win a whole lot more games than you’re going to lose. That’s always the difference in the game, for me.”
