Segal postgame quotes

Brandon Segal’s postgame thoughts…

(on his goal…)
SEGAL: “I did not even know at first how it went in. It was a big goal for us at the time. It obviously would have been nice to have the win tonight. … I got the puck. It felt pretty amazing. I have been waiting my whole life to finally do that. It was a good pass set by Stolly [Jarret Stoll] and I shot the puck and good things happen. … It is about me going out there and playing my game. I just keep it simple and get on the forecheck and control the puck when I can and just try and do all of the little things right.”

(on the game…)
SEGAL: “It is definitely frustrating, and the last game we played so well against the Red Wings and we come out tonight and everyone thought we were focused, but we came out flat and obviously it kind of hurts when they scored the first goal in the first shift like that. All night, it kind of felt like we were just down on the puck and just were not making the plays. We just could not control the puck down low, and it was a frustrating game.”
