Jones getting close

Randy Jones, out since Dec. 15 after a collision with Edmonton’s Dustin Penner, practiced again this morning and also went through a lengthy conditioning skate afterward. Today, Terry Murray said Jones, who had been suffering from dizziness, headaches and neck pain, might be able to return as soon as Saturday’s home game against St. Louis…

MURRAY: “He’s real close. He’s going to get hard work today and tomorrow, then we’ll make a decision for the next game. He’s going to be that close. … That’s good news on Jones. He’s really feeling very good, and excited about the way things went for him yesterday.”
