The Kings took a 2-0 lead with a power-play goal with 1:31 remaining in the period. Michal Handzus centered to Oscar Moller, who scored on a one-timer from the right side.

Then, just 33 seconds later, with the Kings back on the power play, Anze Kopitar scored off a nice cross-ice pass from Drew Doughty.
