Seeing all the kind words, prayers and thoughts yesterday was very comforting on a very tough day. It doesn’t surprise me, given the incredible support you’ve provided for the past three years, but I can assure you that I’ll never forget it. I’m going to give it a go today, so thanks again to everyone for keeping me and my family on your mind.
If you need to catch up on yesterday’s news, as I have been, you can check out yesterday’s Kings notebook, plus a Washington notebook and the story about Dustin Brown, Jack Johnson and Jonathan Quick being selected to the U.S. Olympic team. It appears that Jarret Stoll will once again not play this afternoon, and that Randy Jones was able to skate yesterday.
Also, if you’re going to the game today, after it will be a special celebrity/alumni game to benefit the City of Hope. Raffle tickets are sold for $10 during the game. If you’re not at the game today, the postgame game will be streamed on LAKings.com if you’d like to check it out. Finally, I’m not directly in the business of selling tickets for the Kings, but this month, they’re partnering with the City of Hope and offering some good deals. If you’re inclined to buy tickets, go to LAKings.com/hope and check that out. City of Hope is an amazing facility and certainly a worthwhile cause to support.
