As previously posted, Jarret Stoll traveled with the Kings to Calgary in order to continue rehabbing his strained groin, both on the ice and off the ice, Terry Murray said. Injured players typically don’t travel, so that’s a positive sign for Stoll, even though both he and Murray insist that Stoll won’t play on Wednesday or Thursday.
What about Randy Jones? Still out of the lineup after his collision with Edmonton’s Dustin Penner two weeks ago, Jones still has not returned to the ice. Murray said Jones did not suffer a concussion but is still dealing with some head/neck symptoms…
MURRAY: “There has been improvement. I spoke with him yesterday. There’s improvement. He still feels a little bit woozy when he wakes up in the morning, but it clears up and there’s nothing the rest of the day until he starts to get on the bike, and then it kind of kicks in again. But then after finishing, it settles down and things are good. So everything, from that side of it, is very positive. That’s moving in the right direction. Hopefully, as soon as we get back, he will be able to get going on the ice in practice.”
