After his meeting with the players today, Terry Murray confirmed that Jarret Stoll — who suffered a groin injury Monday night — would not play tonight and that Corey Elkins would be in the lineup for his NHL debut, but Murray said he had not yet decided how the Kings’ lines would look tonight against Edmonton.
MURRAY: “I haven’t put any lines together yet today. I’ve been watching last night’s game and getting ready for meetings, but I’ll spend the rest of the day on that.”
Murray indicated that Davis Drewiske might go back in the lineup, but it’s still unclear as to whether he would replace a defenseman or be a seventh defenseman. Elkins joined his new teammates in Edmonton this morning.
