COACH DAVE TIPPETT
“You hate to get behind like that, but we battled back hard and ended up getting the equalizer in the third. We’ll take the point, but I think there were two (points) to be had tonight. There were some decent chances but I thought we could execute a lot better in situations. The chances we were giving away were a lot of unforced errors on our part. In the end, we come in and recognize we can do things a little bit better, take a point and move on.”

“In a shootout it can go either way. If we won the shootout we would have said everything was great; now we get a little down. It was a tight game and we came back from a two-goal deficit so that’s a good point, I think. They were better for the first 10 minutes, then we jumped back and played the second half of the game (better). We were putting pucks in their zone and trying to work down low in the cycles.”
SCOTTIE UPSHALL
“I thought it was a good effort. They got up quick and they started off playing really good hockey. I thought Bryz played great for us, holding the fort for us. We did the right things to come back in a hockey game, and, you know, when it goes to a shootout anything can happen and they were the ones that got the edge.”
