The Kings took a two-goal lead at the 8:32 mark of the second period. Rob Scuderi kept the puck in the San Jose zone and pushed it across to Drew Doughty. Doughty took a stride toward the net and fired a slap shot from the top of the right circle that beat Nabokov.
