Scuderi update II

Kings defenseman Rob Scuderi left the game in the first period with what was described as a lower-body injury. After the game, Scuderi stood in the hallway outside the Kings’ locker room with a protective boot on his foot/lower leg and joked, “It’s my shoulder.” Scuderi said he got twisted up in a scrum, that the injury didn’t take place from a hit or a puck and that he was OK. Right after the game, Terry Murray said he hadn’t received any official word on Scuderi’s status, other than that Scuderi is day to day.
