Postgame reaction

I won’t have time to transcribe until the plane, but the overall feel in the room was more of a quiet seething than throw-things-around anger.

Terry Murray said he pulled Jonathan Quick for a combination of Quick’s play and the team’s play. Murray essentially said the third goal was a bad one, and a back-breaker.

Dustin Brown said the goal, after the 4-0 deficit, was to play a good third period, and the Kings didn’t even do that.

Lots of praise for the Thrashers and their strong attack.

Murray said he had not seen the Williams hit that drew the late misconduct penalty.

Quotes to come ASAP.
