Coyotes 2, Kings 1

Jack Johnson reached high in an attempt to bat down a Coyotes dump-in attempt, but missed, and Martin Hanzal got behind him and beat Jonathan Quick with a high shot just 37 seconds into the second period. All of the Kings’ good work in the first period essentially led to a one-goal deficit.
