Clune returns

Richard Clune, who had been out with a groin injury, returned to action this weekend for the Manchester Monarchs and scored a goal today in a 3-2 overtime loss to Hartford. Jonathan Bernier, after a victory on Friday — followed by another great game by Jeff Zatkoff on Saturday — took the loss and stopped 27 of 30 shots. Viatcheslav Voynov scored the other goal for the Monarchs, who trailed 2-0 after less than eight minutes but then held Hartford scoreless until one second remained in overtime.
