This relates, a bit, to yesterday’s discussion about what will happen to the lines when Justin Williams returns. Today, Terry Murray talked about the recently constructed line of Dustin Brown, Alexander Frolov and Michal Handzus. He expressed satisfaction with it, which leads back to the question of what to do with the Stoll line when Williams returns. Here are Murray’s thoughts on the Handzus line…
MURRAY: “The line is a good line. They’ve got lots of experience there, with the three of them. They play a hard and heavy game, a dot-to-board game. They know their responsibilities without the puck. Handzus is one of the better players, I think, in our game without the puck. With Fro and Brownie being good puck handlers, they make a lot of things happen in the offensive zone just by cycling the puck and taking it to the net. With that kind of attitude, good things can happen for you.”
