Raitis Ivanans took an offensive-zone holding penalty, and the Rangers scored 41 seconds into the power play. Michael Del Zotto took a point shot that was more of a pass, and Vinny Prospal, stationed to the right of the net, deflected it up and past Erik Ersberg 3:11 into the game.
